Permanent employees of Indigo Hair & Beauty are eligible for discount on treatments and services. Discount applies only to services which are considered chargeable, as many are provided at no charge (see complimentary services).
Services are generally considered chargeable to employees if the service or treatment is times in excess of 60 minutes, or requires a product or treatment to be used (excluding shampoo, conditioner or hair stying product).
Eligibility
Employees are eligible to claim discount once they have attained three months continuous service. Any employee wishing to make a booking using Employee Discount should request this via the Salon Manager.
As a general rule, paying clients will have priority over appointment slots. For this reason, employee bookings will not be placed into the appointment system any earlier than 24 hours prior to booking unless specifically permitted by the Salon Manager.
Discount
The current rate of discount for treatments and services is 50%.
There is currently no discount offered on retail products.
Payment
In order to reduce business costs when claiming employee discount, employees are asked to make payments via direct bank transfer to the following bank account:

Payment should be made within 24 hours of the service/treatment being concluded. Employees who are paid via electronic bank transfer may also request that the service/treatment cost is deducted from their next salary. This is conditional and should be requested and agreed by the Salon Manager in advance.
Payment should be cashed off as ‘on account’ in Salon. Once payment has been received by accounts this will be paid off as ‘Bank Transfer’ by the Salon Manager.
Complimentary Services
Many simple treatments and services will be at no cost to employees. These will be provided on an ad-hoc basis only, with the express permission of the Salon Manager. Under no circumstances will complimentary services be booked into the appointment calendar in advance.
Complimentary services should be placed into the appointment calendar after the treatment or service has concluded for logging and audit purposes. These will be cashed off as COMPLIMENTARY.
Terms
The Salon Manager reserves the right to cancel employee appointments should there be a business need to. This will be discussed with you with as much advance notice as possible.
